Juan serves as chairman of Diransa S.R.L. (a portfolio company), a board member of Bond Energy Solutions S.A.S. (a portfolio company), an alternate board member of Ceverum Ltd. (a portfolio company), a board member of Ellie Care (a portfolio company), and a board member of Janis (a portfolio company). In addition, he is a professor of the master’s degree in Finance at Universidad Di Tella in Buenos Aires, and an Endeavor mentor in Argentina.

Juan has over two decades of banking and investment experience. Prior to joining Lucens Capital, he worked as a managing director of Puerto Asis Investments, the private investment arm of a prominent Argentine family office, where he managed a portfolio of direct investments, co-investments and private equity investments as LP. In that capacity, he was a board member of Roch, an Argentine E&P company with focus on the Austral basin, an alternate board member of Roman Servicios, an Argentine company specialized in heavy lifting and transportation, and an observer to the board of directors of Terminales Rio de la Plata, one of the largest container ports in Argentina, controlled by Dubai Ports.

Prior thereto, Juan worked for 14 years at J.P. Morgan, initially as a financial analyst in the Emerging Markets Financial Institutions Group based in New York, and most recently as an executive director in the Southern Cone Investment Banking Coverage Group based in Buenos Aires.

During his tenure at J.P. Morgan, he participated in over 35 successful M&A and capital markets transactions in Latin America, for over USD 15 billion. Juan earned a B.A. in Accounting (magna cum laude) from Universidad de San Andrés, and participated in the LAVCA & Wharton Latin America Private Equity Professional Development Program.
